      Natural diamonds are formed at high temperatures deep in the Earth’s mantle. They are then brought close to the Earth′s surface through deep volcanic eruptions by a magma, which cools.
      Did you know Diamonds are made from the same atoms as graphite which is the centre of your pencil. The carbon atoms are just arranged in two different structures giving diamond and graphite very different properties.

      Also they can make diamonds in the lab using explosions (gives you high pressure and high temperature) or a chemical process.
