• Question: what is your favouruite thing about your job

      I think the best things is that I come to work not knowing what I’m going to find out that day. My job is to find out new things. They could be anything! Some days I’ll find nothing and I’ll just drink coffee. Other I might find something cool… and still drink coffee.

      Like Dave, I like the unkown part of it, no two days are the same and more often than not you don’t know if your experiment will work. That makes science kind of like a mystery that you need to solve it 🙂

      My favorite thing about my job is that it usually doesn’t feel like work. I feel lucky that I get to do a job that I am fascinated by most of the time. There are always new and interesting problems to be solved. Usually, every time we find the answer to a question we are trying to solve, we end up with about 10 more questions. Of course, sometimes it is frustrating, like when I write a computer program that doesn’t work, and I can’t figure out why- but usually it is a comma in the wrong place or something silly…
