• Question: Paul, I love the program Mythbusters. Do you think programmes like Mythbusters are helping to get younger people interested in science?

      Definitely. I love that show too, I have watched it since it started. They film that show about an hour away from where I used to live in america (san francisco). It is great because they are so mental, but they fit a lot of physics, chemistry, math, etc. into the show. Their tag-line used to be “un-nerding science”. I am convinced that most of science doesn’t need to be boring, especially if you are just trying to get young people interested. Everyone responds to humour and clever ideas, and action, and explosions…
