• Question: is there any animals in space

      I’m not sure at the moment, there might be some test going on the international space station. In the past lots of animals have been to space – Dogs, cats, Monkeys, fish, fruit flies, mice , turtle , worms …. giraffes.

      I think they were recently doing tests on bacteria and mice on the international space station. For one thing they want to see if mammals can have babies in space (maybe some day we could live as space people in zero gravity?). I heard they took birds into space, but because birds don’t have any throat muscles, they use gravity to swallow things. So the birds all died!
